Barbara Pichs-Reyes | Paralegal
Twenty-two years ago, I was fortunate enough to be employed by an Intellectual Property boutique law firm in Coral Gables, Florida. This was the beginning of a career in Intellectual Property that allowed me to learn and grow from the ground up. Early on I focused solely on Foreign trademark prosecution and maintenance of trademark portfolios for small, local businesses to international companies with sizeable portfolios. However, as the need grew and doors opened, I began incorporating domestic trademark practice into my work experience. This was an opening to continued advancement in the Intellectual Property field that has allowed me to assist attorneys in various law firms with my trademark Paralegal skills. I thoroughly enjoy working in a field that is continually changing and value being part of an organization that affords me the ability to keep up with the changes, in order to be an effective part of our IP Team.
Outside of work, my interests include reading, cooking, all types of music genres and attending concerts. As a side and semi-comical note (because if not, I’d cry), I almost added quarantining to my interests along with becoming the best homebody ever!! Prior to March 2020 I was NEVER a homebody. I wonder if I’ll ever go back to my usual ways. I’ve also found a new love for theming meals according to Disney movies. It was a quarantine family project. I have pictures. I’m going to put it all together in a book!
